Managing Glue access
Section titled “Managing Glue access”Access to Glue is controlled via Single Sign On (SSO) with a cloud identity provider (e.g. Azure AD, Okta, Ping, etc).
When a Glue instance is provisioned the customers tenant ID is added to the back end configuration to allow users in their cloud identity provider to be able to access Glue. Users then need to be assigned roles within Glue to be able to access particular functionality.
For most users the ‘Glue User’ role is most appropriate.
A ‘Glue Admin’ or ‘Glue User Admin’ can modify the roles of a user through the Glue UI as shown in the following screen shots.

In the global search type the name of the user

Select Edit from the User menu

Select the required roles and save
An admin can review Glue permissions from Admin -> Glue Access
